AEDJAC Lab is an academia-based industry-focused systems development lab which is creating a conducive place for development of concepts in order to incubate innovative ideas and transform them into products and solutions for industry and society. We are registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (RC 1894336) as a business venture. The Lab, in the course of its operation, will seek to make the link between analysis and synthesis of learned theories. It will also seek to incorporate the effects of social life on the results of research and development. There is a disconnect between the theories taught in the classrooms and their applications in society and industry. Most times, students, whether postgraduates or undergraduates, find it difficult to adapt the theories of the classroom to the field situations. We established AEDJAC Lab to create graduates with basic skills needed to address the industries and societal problems using their acquired knowledge. We hope to create self-confident and employable graduates. We believe in a green and sustainable environment, hence our interest in growing beautiful plants in the lab and also generating power from renewable sources. We try to inculcate that into the lab users.
