Corn sheller

This device was designed and fabricated in our lab by a member of our team. It is used for shelling dried corn. The design successfully put into practice the theories they were taught in class. The test results showed that it is able to shell corn neatly, separating the grains from the cobs. The drum has a volume of 0.112 cu. m and it shells a full drum in 3 minutes. It stands 1.35 m high and covers an area of .74 sq. m.
